My Name is Shaya Algazi and i am a multidisciplinary Artist.
I discovered the technique of linoleum printing during my studies at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in 2015, and I’ve been passionate about it ever since.
I love the challenge of planning and executing complex prints using simple hand techniques. The process is meditative and relaxing for me, and I dedicated myself to it for the past three years. The potential for creativity and skill improvement in this method is boundless.

Growing up in the Israeli countryside, nature has always been a source of inspiration for me. My linoleum prints feature subjects related to nature, people, light and shadow, and ‘Gestalt’. I believe, that linoleum printing is a perfect medium for capturing the essence of these subjects in a unique and beautiful way.

In addition to linoleum printing,
I also do illustration, specialising in children's books and simple animations.
